We are delighted to share that Rannahotell has received the international Green Key eco-
label! This recognition signifies our commitment to creating a more environmentally friendly
and sustainable hotel experience.

Our hotel is a special part of Pärnu’s history and beach culture, but we also look to the
future—finding ways to offer our guests comfort while preserving nature and supporting the
local community. The Green Key certification confirms that we operate responsibly and
actively contribute to environmental sustainability.

What are we doing at Rannahotell to be more sustainable?

• Linen change policy – Bed linens are changed every three days or upon departure. If you prefer more frequent changes just let us know.
• Towels – If you hang your towel on the rack we won’t replace it, helping to reduce water consumption from laundry.
• Energy-efficient lighting – We use LED lighting in rooms and common areas, and where possible, motion-sensor lights to prevent unnecessary energy use.
• Drink tap water – Our tap water is high-quality and safe to drink. Enjoy it straight from the tap and help reduce plastic bottle consumption.
• Refillable toiletries – We have replaced single-use shampoo and shower gel bottles with refillable dispensers in all rooms, reducing plastic waste.
• Environmentally friendly cleaning products – We use sustainable cleaning products to keep both our hotel’s indoor spaces and the surrounding nature chemical-free.
• Water conservation in landscaping – Our flowers and green areas are watered in the morning to minimize evaporation and save resources.
• Local food sourcing – We collaborate with local food producers to ensure that our restaurant serves as much locally sourced food as possible.

Our goal is to offer a relaxing beachside getaway in Pärnu while acting responsibly and
sustainably.
